Soviet Canada 1935 was conceived during Soressa’s residency at Vancouver Coop Radio (sponsored by the Media Arts Committee with funding from the Canada Council for the Arts) in the fall of 2006 and completed in 2007. It was first released in 2008 on Audio Art Volume 6, presented by CRES Media Arts Committee (MAC) and CFRO Vancouver Co-op Radio.
